Film project featured in Canada.com article
Producer and cinematographer Josh Usheroff, and Erik Anderson, writer and director, for the feature film Misogyny/Misandry pose for a photograph in downtown Montreal on July 21, 2011. The duo are using the crowdfunding website IndieGoGo as the primary way to fund their latest project.
Hi everybody,
As I think many of you have heard by now, I’m shooting a feature film in early August. Erik Anderson (writer / director) and I (cinematographer) are producing the project along with our lead actress, Melisa Paulson.
The film takes place on the night that young Jeff (Dan Beirne) returns from University for the summer. He squirms through dinner with his ardent and sometimes overbearing family, while eagerly awaiting his night out with Alex (Melissa Paulson) for whom he bears a secret flame. The film deals with gender inequality and double-standards; it walks a fine-line between the offensive and the objective realities of modern life. Most importantly, it’ll be a fun film to watch.
We’re currently crowd-funding to support this project, which means we’re asking for your contributions to help make this meaningful work of art. There are some great rewards for contributors that allow you to become part of our production family. Your support will help feed our talented actors & crew; purchase the hard-drives to store our footage safely; and provide the means for the technical needs of the film from lights and lenses, through to post production. Even a small contribution can make a big difference and the perks get better as your commitment increases.
Please follow this link to contribute now and share the link with everyone you know:

We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has generously contributed to help us raise our first $1,000. We’re hoping to surpass the $2,500 mark by the time we start shooting on August 1st. We’ll be updating our online campaign throughout production to keep you informed about our progress.

Thanks in advance and please share this e-mail with all!
Best regards,
Josh Usheroff
